SHOHEI ("Service", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our Service, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

When you authorize SHOHEI via TikTok's OAuth flow, we receive and process the following information:

We do not collect passwords, payment information, location data, or any information beyond what is necessary to operate the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to provide the Service:

• To authenticate your TikTok account and verify authorization
• To upload your video files to TikTok's servers on your behalf
• To schedule and publish your videos at the time you specify
• To display your account information within the Service interface

We do not use your information for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond the core functionality described above.

3. Data Storage and Security

OAuth tokens (access token and refresh token) are stored locally on the authorized user's device. Tokens are not transmitted to or stored on any external server operated by SHOHEI beyond TikTok's own API endpoints.

We recommend users store tokens with restricted file permissions and revoke access through TikTok's settings if the device is lost or compromised.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• TikTok / ByteDance – Video uploads and publish requests are sent directly to TikTok's official API endpoints (open.tiktokapis.com) as required to operate the Service.
• Legal requirements – We may disclose information if required by applicable law, regulation, or valid legal process.

5. TikTok API Scopes

SHOHEI requests the following TikTok API permissions:

• user.info.basic – Read your public profile data (Open ID, display name, avatar) to verify your identity
• video.upload – Upload video content from your device to TikTok's servers
• video.publish – Publish uploaded videos directly to your TikTok profile at your chosen time

No additional permissions are requested or used.

6. Data Retention

OAuth tokens are retained on your device until you:

• Manually delete the token file on your device
• Revoke SHOHEI's access through TikTok's "Manage app permissions" settings
• The token expires naturally per TikTok's token lifecycle

We do not retain video files after they have been transmitted to TikTok's servers.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Revoke access – Remove SHOHEI's authorization at any time via TikTok Settings > Privacy > Manage app permissions
• Delete your data – Delete locally stored token files from your device at any time
• Request information – Contact us to ask what data we hold related to your use of the Service

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the Service, please contact us at the email below.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
